Produced from the "mosto flor" ("free-run juice") of sustainably grown and hand-harvested grapes. Ya means "yes!" in Spain. Straw yellow with good flow of tiny bubbles and light mousse. Stone fruit aromas with a vanilla nut fragrance. On the palate peach and citrus flavors, good balance, plenty of acidity and lingers nicely. — 5 months ago
Vintage 2018 | My favorite Cava. This gran reserva spend 60 months in bottle. Xarel-lo, Macabeu, Parellada and Chardonnay. This sparkling wine is so refined and has elegance. I love it very much. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2013 “Visol” pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach, lemon, light brioche, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. There is a chalky mineral and almost fino sherry-like finish, which is medium. Mestres does such a great job. Drink now. — 9 days ago
