The sheer class of this is so impressive. Nose has lime zest, vanilla extract, and palate has that 10% opulence hit that just soars into the jagged juicy edges of the finish. 9.5 to 9.7 overnight. Wow this has opened up. Nose is so 21 and super steely, citrus, floral and skeletal. Palate is luscious, juicy and nervy with gorgeous fleshy fruit and unreal density yet lightness. Awesome. So dense. Weight of a spatlese but nimble as a Kabinett. Lime zest on the nose now. Seashells. Chablis like. — a year ago

I chose this to pair with Cantonese roasted duck and it worked nicely as the brisk acidity match fat and saltiness really well.

Lime, chamomile, candied lemon peel, and wet slate to go with subtle petrol note. There is hint of sweetness from dried fruits and honeycomb on the palate with medium body and a long, saline finish. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2021 Graacher Domprobst Spätlese (White Capsule) pours a day bright, light straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of tropical fruit: star fruit, passion fruit, lemons, petrol, rocky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long with tongue smacking acid and minerals. A cracking pairing with lamb massaman, larb and papaya salad. Drink now with some patience but better after 2026 and through 2041. Beautiful stuff. — 2 years ago
