Best QPR Bourgogne Chardonnay out there. On par with Meursault but with a drier finish. Oak, buttery palate with exotic fruits and citric nose. Hazelnut, lemon peel, dry pineapple, hay and “farm” scent at first, then vanilla, dates, and butter kick in. — 7 months ago
2017 Castello di Ama L’Apparita was the wine that I pulled for the evening. Italian Merlot. Ama is an old, fortified village situated near Radda and Gaiole in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. On the nose, intense dark berries. A full bodied wine with layers of beautiful ripe fruit. Perfect balance. Stellar finish. Stunning. — 2 years ago
Cherry and smoky aroma, medium body, dry, semi-bitter finish. Paired nicely with rib eye steak. — 2 months ago

Pale ruby in color. Aromas of cherry, smoke, and spices. On the palate, it’s fruit-forward with well-balanced acidity and tannins. The higher ABV stands out for a Pinot Noir. Drinking well now despite its young vintage. — 10 months ago
This one is so smooth. Cherry, smoke, and raspberry. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby colour , ruby rim. Quite fresh and slightly spicy on the nose , violets , red plum , spicy blackberry and some redder fruits also , cherry and raspberry, freshly cut herbs . On the palate more strawberry and raspberry notes , with cherry tart , herbal hints . Quite fresh and dusty tannins and good cherry and blackberry , saline tinged finish . Needs a bit of time , maybe another 5 years , will last well for a further 10-15. Promising , well balanced and elegantly made . — 9 months ago

This didn't upload properly with my notes but I'm liking these Sangiovese's with a 4-5% blend of Merlot - it rounds them out and makes them more approachable because you can't pair with a wild boar ragout pasta every night of the week.
