When someone asks me what kind of wines I prefer to drink…indeed! — 4 years ago
Vintage 2016. The color is bright and ruby. The nose is red fruit and minerals. The mouth keeps the same sensation the confy increases, but well-rounded. The aftre taste is short, which is a pity. — 6 years ago
Awesome wine with a sense of place if SudTirol — 7 years ago
Superb interpretation of a Gewurztraminer.
Loud while elegant on the nose with a slightly bitter, sweet and acidic mouth feel. — 4 months ago
Excellent Bord blend from the Dolomites - reminiscent of the Sicilian P-N last night — 3 years ago
Had this with my handsome husband at Audrey in Nashville Tennessee — 4 years ago
Wonderful with our fresh monkfish from the local fish truck. Purchased a few years ago and the age has given this great wine more depth. Really nice owners if you are in their zone. — 5 years ago
The Campill 2014. fabulous. — 6 years ago

Amazing mineral wine with some backbone. Almost 2 years on the lees gives you a creamy and buttery texture, with notes of ripe yellow stonefruit, hay, quince and some nutty and waxy tones in the end. Drink now and enjoy — 5 months ago
Terrific!!! — 3 years ago
Sauvignon from Alto Adige - an easy wine to like. Usually luscious, ripe, powerful, something to say. And so it goes again here...
I grabbed this guy from the clearance bin and only later realized I had visited the winery a few years ago, a big fancy glossy floored operation in the adorable town of Bolzano - the wine is humble and fits together in itself with sweet quirks and lots of umph.
Sticky grilled peaches garnished with cool mint and a Chartreusian blend of honeyed anise, dried orange peel, and peppery herbs. — 3 years ago
The best white wine I've ever personally purchased from the store. This time, on a trip to Bolzano. — 4 years ago
Light smoke. Red and black fruit. High acidity and brightness. Delightful. A story buyers notes: Santa Maddalena Classico is its own DOC in the heart of Bolzano. By law the wine must be 90% Schiava (aka Trollinger) and 10% Lagrein. This combination works to add a touch of richness and body to the normally bright and aromatic schiava. The vineyard is a large slope scaling from 250 meters to 500 meters, with the Lagrein grown on the lower portion of the hill. These are old vines averaging between 40-50 years old. 10 years on the lees! Rich, full, and just a touch honeyed with loads of hazelnut and a beautiful bead of a bubble. Don’t know the grape breakdown but this is an incredible sparkler. And from Südtirol!!! €40 from Enovit in Bolzano. — 7 years ago

Beautiful nose of fragrant white spring blossoms, mineral, wet stones, and some subtle wet soil, fresh and lively on the palate, nice balance, shows excellent depth and complexity, lingering finish, lovely northern Italian Sylvaner (I do favor Sylvaner!!). — 3 months ago
