Pop and pour. Lovely. Like Nerello mascalese tinged sangio: smoky, seemingly volcanic, blood orange, tar, a touch of funk. On the palate: lovely acidity, elegant and lighter weight, darker on the back palate with soft chalky tannin. Yum. — 2 years ago

Nose - slate, soil, graphite and fresh fruit. Main notes - crab apple and cranberry. Body - medium with super soft tannins but a little zing of acid. Such a great food wine. Not to brag but met the wine maker on a trip to Umbria last Fall and he was one of the loveliest human beings I’ve had the pleasure to meet. — 6 months ago
