Deep inky purple and ruby colors. BlackBerry, currants, cola. Approachable but has depth. — 3 months ago
Inky ruby. A bit effervescent. White pepper, mushroom, strawberries, and raspberry. Savory more than fruity. Fairly light and very smooth. — 2 years ago

100% Sangiovese. Medium ruby color. Aromas of red cherry, red geraniums, tomato leaf and leather. Black cherry fruit leads the palate with additional notes of tobacco, minerals and savory spices. Long and earthy finish. Firm structure and tannins but extremely well balanced. Acidity is bright and well incorporated. Vibrant and elegant. A very pleasant surprise. Outstanding QPR! — a year ago

Excellent. Soft, luscious, wonderful. — 6 years ago

Lovely as always. Ripe strawberry, plush, cola, vanilla — a great balance of classic Oregon Pinot noir flavors and young red fruit. — 6 months ago
Lots of red fruit — raspberry, dark cherry — plus blackberry underneath. Vanilla and cola notes, along with some forest floor earthiness. Easy to drink 7 years in. More fruit forward than other vintages I’ve had. Quite good. — 3 years ago

Rated 8.9 last 8 yrs ago- now beautifully developed. Plum-prune nose, chocolate dark fruit with blood orange on the palate, just enough tannin for a nice finish with leather and tobacco hints. Delicious — 3 hours ago
