Really a wonderful cote rotie in a prime drinking window at ~10 years. 13% abv which is appreciated. Very balanced with wonderful length. Great acid. Quite typical Syrah on the nose. Not overly aromatic with muted orchard apples, some exotic fruit and a pinch of spice. On the palate this shows broad & rich fruit tightly wound around a core of mineral acidity. Poised & elegant with great purity & precision. Still very young and needs a bit of air, so will keep nicely for the next years.
