2015 vintage. Gros Moulin has a long winemaking history, Rémy Eymas being the 11th generation. Per Vitem ad Vitam is a Cabernet Franc (80%) and Malbec blend and this 2015 is gorgeous. Intense perfume with blackberries, violets, cedar wood and a hint of rosemary. This complex beauty combines power and elegance. The solid tannic backbone is balanced by fresh acidity and layered black fruit. Great length too. Hard to resist now, but should age effortlessly for at least 15 years. Terrific value at 25 euros. Not to be missed. — 4 years ago
Ridiculously satin Syrah. Some funk(Sous Bois) on the nose, then luscious, mid weight deliciousness. Some tannins left but wonderfully integrated. Nice acids on the finish.
W Duck confit, beans, sausage and Black Pearl oyster shrooms… the cold is almost bearable.

Opened 24H in advance with one glass poured to allow for increased air volume in the bottle. I prefer the flavor development of the Saint Peray sparkling wines on the second day open. Just a stunning example of Alt Champagne; Marsanne & Roussanne blend make a spectacular sparkling wine!
Please see prior notes. A tart, saline finish today, second to none! — 5 years ago

Deep ruby color.
Aromas of baked red/black fruit, spice.
Dry. Flavors of baked raspberry, baked blueberry, cinnamon, vanilla, cola, soft black pepper. Medium-rich, velvety tannins.

Such a terrific value. Meaty nose with blackberry and dark red berries. Mint, herbs and flowers. Needs air for the granite to show. Palate is delicate and juicy with terrific complexity and freshness. So pure and wispy for a Cornas. Still dense but so juicy. Incredibly well made. — 21 days ago
