Wine traditions. Love this producer so much. — 4 years ago

A good champagne. Drank kind of… young? Balanced but not graceful, hefty but a little too eager. All of the flavor was BOOM, right up front, and it was more green apple rind than anything. Good - maybe not my thing. — 5 years ago
Last night (NYE). Good stuff. Not overly fruity and not dry. Nice balance. — 6 years ago
Golden yellow. Toasty Brioche, vanilla, honey, ginger, dried apricot, marigold, lemon grass, strawberry, orange blossom, and hazelnut rounding out the taste. Creamy, rich, and toasty! Medium body, and finish. 65% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, 15% Chardonnay, from Vallee de la Marne, Montagne de Reims. 85% fermented in tank, 15% in oak. 50% 2016, 35% 2015, 15% Perpetual Reserve. 2009 vintage. Completely unfamiliar with this producer (which I love new producers). Opened but not decanted. Age appropriate color. Variety of tea scents in the nose muddled with a modicum of drought dirt/earth. Light body. Tasted 20 minutes and 1.5 hours after opening. Total transference of the nose into the flavor profile-no surprises. Wine seemed to gain more strength/concentration of finish and dirtied up a tad but not more body or complexities. Doubtful another hour open/more air would have unlocked an achievement or improved the standing in the community. Will say it was a pleasure tasting a Vosne-Romanée vineyard with some age on it that was on the lighter side of the ledger vs the usual super intense. 11.28.25. — 7 months ago

Good golly Miss Molly!
Stunning example of a burg. Singing with fruit, poise and grace. Earthy notes give way to a clean mouthfeel.
Textured with ripe cherries and blueberries. Built for the long-term.

Really enjoyed this. Decanted for ~2hrs. Beautiful perfume, absolutely delicious. Great balance, and a killer price. — 3 years ago
This is surprisingly good! Nose screams Pinot from the Cote de Beaune. Sappy, sultry cherry, spice, moist limestoney loam. Soft textured and focused in the mouth. Good ripeness and zingy acids. Just enough super-soft tannin to provide some structure. Nice length. Terrific value (two words you don’t often hear when a Burgundy is the subject). — 4 years ago
Deep yellow center with a nice clear rim. Notes of apple, cedar, white peach, smooth stone fruits. FRESH …Seamless with light acidity & perfect balance. Consumed over three hours. Amazed on how this wine held up. At- Bern’s Steak House. @Mike R Happy Anniversary my very good friend! Love you buddy. — 5 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Grand Vallée Extra Brut pours a straw color with a faint bronze tinge and persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of fresh raspberries, strawberry, peach, lemon and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and packed with minerals. Quite lovely. Drink now. Disgorged Spring of 2023. — a month ago
