Lemon verbena and minerality dominate the high tone nose. Playful and light across the palate, but has gorgeous depth to fill all the surfaces. A lingering and nuanced finish. Can’t wait to put my efforts into these vines. Thanks Isabelle for this vintage. — 7 years ago
Newly in love with Shiraz, I recently purchased a couple locally in our wine shop. This is smooth, soft to the nose and exactly the same to the pallet.

First of three bottles from Chambers, 10/24/25. Bright purple. Bubble gum and blackberry nose, with wafting of evergreen (not pine nor juniper; more spruce or hemlock). Light ravishing tannin. A bit green — needs to open up? — 8 months ago
Stunning wine. Needed some air to blow off a little initial reduction, but it’s in a tremendous place, perfumed, vibrant and satiny with a brilliant bouquet, ravishing Chambolle elegance and a liquid velvet palate. It’s far more showy and complete than the last bottle two years ago. 2013 reds are really drinking great right now. Dujac always hits 🤌🏻 — a year ago
Double decant and pour(little cloudy sediment). A ravishing dark ruby red color for this GSM blend from Amador county California. On the nose: Raspberry jam, earthy, pepper, floral, and a touch of caramel. Taste: bing cherry, wet leaves, raspberry, and mushrooms. Velvety tannins lead the charge to a medium plus finish. Drink now or give it just a few more years.. yum, get some Keplinger! — 6 years ago

Very pleasant Texas Malbec. Consider it a solid red table wine. — 7 years ago
Blimey it’s limey, and oh so dry. 3 hours later, my lips are still puckered. No matter how much water I drink, my mouth is still dry as the desert. Oh musty oak, oh dark raven! — 8 years ago

Needed a longer decant but wonderful. Dad was skeptical “Grenache - what’s that?”. You have had it before dad, it’s good. Skeptical/irritated look. Ok, very little. Converted. Back three times for “just a little/ah might as well/yeah finish it off”. Kept it at his end of the table. — 7 years ago

ravishing rosé ✨ alert: I included this $13 ‘17 #LaSpinetta Il Rose di Casanova in an event I did in Westchester last night, and true to its name, it sent hearts racing ❤️ . Refreshing but uncommonly flavorful (cherry, peach, maybe some orange peel), with zippy tang and a long, lovely finish. Bonus: the label features the majestic rhinoceros 🦏 etched by genius artist Albrecht Dürer in the sixteenth century. If I had a summer house, this #wine would be stocked like soda. 🥤

Lovely Italian wine. Taste of red cherry with smooth finish. Nice touch of oak and medium tannins. Happy Valentine’s Day at The Raven Restaurant. — 4 months ago
