Really nice wine- floral and nice structured acidity. Drinks well! — a month ago
Juicy Cab, with nicely integrated tannins. A little fruit forward with a smooth finish. — 4 months ago
Mmmm - delicious! Quite full bodied with a deep ruby red color. Enjoyed with red meat and all by itself. Flavors of blackberry, plum and dark cherry. — 9 months ago
Totally love Gimblett Gravels Reds & this is one of them. Beautiful array of dark berry fruits, dark chocolate, a spec of bakery spices, a dash of savoury goodness and fresh silky tannins. — 7 years ago
Tried a sample at a wine tasting bar in store. Very pleasant - not aged in oak which I prefer. — 7 years ago
Night 2 notes. The oaky notes from being first opened on night one are gone. It’s a little softer, higher in acid, and less intense than other vintages I’ve had. Nose has bright, ripe red berries, some brambly notes, and irony earth. On the palate there’s nice intensity on entry, but it flattens out a bit in the finish. I’d say this is for earlier drinking than the typical Storybooks I’m used to. — 19 days ago

Opened for my 80th birthday. Wow, at its peak, deep cherry colour, fresh, vibrant, complex with amazing depth and flavours, a long aftertaste. So tasty. — 8 months ago
2016 is $13 at Costco. Very clean and smooth. Pretty light and not tons of flavor. — 7 years ago
Still quite nice with roasted chicken breast. — 12 days ago
Great vineyard for this wine. Better than others I have had. Soft, round, and fruity. Random Tuesday watching Brewers put Cuba back into second place. — 3 months ago

2007 vintage. Nice fill. Used a Durand to open but good cork nonetheless. Decanted and tasted after 15 minutes. JFC...does the oak ever die on this nonsense? Tried to bushwhack through it without success. Even the Alexander Valley product has the good sense to have the oak minimized/integrated/drop off after a decade. Not the case here. There's a reason why I haven't even considered carrying this on a wine list since the late 90's. This go round didn't exactly convert my opinion. 8.16.26. — 2 days ago
