“This is a rad Chardonnay,” said one of our guests. Jeff Stewart, the winemaker, does a fantastic job of letting the grapes and terroir speak for themselves. There is a focus and precision about this wine and an internal tension that makes it feel alive. — 10 months ago

Douglas & Ana Lucia Stewart founded Breggo in 2005 before selling the brand four years later. They kept their estate property though, and from it the Lichen label was born. Their 2014 offers amid-weight expression of Anderson Valley Pinot that balances its fleshier frame with aromatic lift. Notes of hibiscus and pressed red rose meet sappier, medicinal tones on the palate - rosemary, underbrush, pomegranate and raspberry liqueur. — 8 years ago
2014 - Luscious, slightly fruity and subtle white pepper bouquet; great body that spreads over the palate, and what legs, pleasant medium long finish; enjoyed with spatchcocked turkey and all the fixings; kudos to winemaker Jeff Stewart and to the Hartford’s.Tasted at vineyard (sole source), bought one through wine club; need to get more; well worth the price as a premium Pinot (best that I have tried). This wine smells like it's late to the party, but it tastes like it's 1999. Pucker up! Bright, tart cherries. Blackberries and mint. Cedar and tea leaves. Tannins are mellow and this wine has a smooth lengthy finish. A great value Napa!

A very dark and deep color for a PN. Juicy cherry with spice and rose notes. Not earthy. Like it. — 8 years ago

Fresh and crisp. I usually don’t like Chardonnay but this is wonderful! Picked by Martha Stewart from her wine collection. — 9 years ago
Pale lemon in color.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, light gooseberries, lime juice, green apples, light grapefruits, herbs and minerals.
Tangy finish with limes and light honeysuckle.
This is a crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
This Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc is fruit forward and easy drinking.
Good right out of the bottle, and good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with fresh seafood.
100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. A small production of only 3,200 bottles.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

This is a really great wine. Jeff Stewart is a wonderful winemaker (and a nice guy). This wine has a rich mouthfeel with restrained oak and enough acidity to enhance the fruit and experience. This worked great with a roasted chicken over an arugula salad, and the next day it worked just as well with take out burgers. Enjoy! — a year ago
This may sound silly, but I bought this bottle after watching a Martha Stewart cooking show on preparing Coq Au Vin. Yeah, I admit it, Im A Martha Stewart fan . She said" I always use my finest cognac."
Yes I paid a small fortune to cook chicken with cognac, but I followed the recipe.
I'm not a big cognac guy, but ...........................
Very smooth, my guests love this stuff, and the dinner was a hit too.
