Clear, deep ruby in color (almost purple); on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black plum, violets, blueberries, and wet slate with a long finish. This wine is intense and complex, but could use a bit more acidityto balance the fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie liked it with food. — 9 months ago
This was one of the first Pet Nats that had years ago and it still hits. Love everything Michael Cruz does. This sparkling Valdigue is easy drinking with still awesome complexity. Nose of rose and strawberry. Notes of rose hip, camomile, and bright green apple. First wine in the new house in NOLA. — 4 years ago
Full pear, enjoyed it!! Would order again $138 — 5 years ago
Loaded with blackberry and dark fruit with graphite and vanilla undertones. It’s rich, smooth, full of flavor and texture and accessible now. Think it will become a multi-layered beauty with age. — 6 years ago
An absolute beauty. The perfume on this thing is exquisite. Violets, spicy pepper, and smokey bacon fat. Palate has a nice twist of funk at this early stage and ends with a solid tannic presence. I would blind this against any american syrah and guarantee it would hold its own, craziest part is it will only continue to develop. — 7 years ago
Ready to drink. Worked well with grilled pork chops. Friends who prefer Italian reds liked it. — 2 months ago
To me, this smells and tastes like a late-70s, old school Napa Cab. Very dark color. Nose charges out of the gates with cassis, olives, dark green pungent herbs, gravel, and a little iodine. Approachable (and enjoyable) already on the palate. Sure, it’s a bit tannic but they’re soft, with mouth-coating savory flavors. None of that damn chocolateyness I don’t like (which seems near-ubiquitous now in Napa Cabs), and zero jamminess. What a value (I got it for $39) for a very tasty and true-to-type Napa Cab. — 10 months ago
13.5% ABV Salute to Lulu Peyraud of Domaine Tempier in France. Lulu’s father owned the vineyard , and she along with her husband took it over. Sadly we lost her in October 2020 at the age of 102 y/o. This is a blend of old vine Mataro and Grenache. Light salmon color, watermelon initially , later apple. Very nice! — 4 years ago
First bottle of the Biden Harris administration and it didn’t disappoint. — 5 years ago
Delicious Pinot Noir, thicker than most Pinot’s, but worth it. — 6 years ago

Mossy on the nose, Pinot fruitiness in the mouth, grows in complexity and depth as it breathes — 3 months ago
Had the empty bottle for a while so I don’t remember much about taste but I wouldn’t have kept it if I didn’t like!!! Love the label, will look to buy again. 2020 year. — 7 months ago
2021 is too young but I’m drinking it, and it’s delicious. — a year ago
Opaque dark violet with clear meniscus.. couldn’t have told this is 12 yrs old looking at the wine in the glass. Medium viscosity. oak-spiced, red and blue fruit, chocolate, tobacco and floral pastille aromas. Mocha and vanilla flourish. Plush, velvety and broad mouthfeel, it offers sweet cassis and blackberry flavors with a long spice and oak finish. Rich and energetic in style, medium acidity, resolved medium minus tannins and medium alcohol. Delicious expression of a high quality CA cab. I like this much better than bold and high ABV CA cabs. This was 14% ABV. — 6 years ago
