It feels really nice to be back home with my pretty little wife. Brandon is good company, but he's not much of a kisser.
This wine is light and lively, though inky dark purple. Strawberry aromatics, strawberry and plum flavors. A little fizzy sensation on the tongue.

Over ripe plum, dark berries, smoke, dirt — 3 years ago
From the winery:
“Our Estate produced Teroldego is a rarely grown grape in the U.S. originating from the Northern Italian Tyrolean area of Trentino-Alto Adige. This big and rich inky dark red wine is lively, exhibits fruity intriguing flavors of dark berry, aromatic wood spice with a finish of structured tannins and bright acidity. Vinified and fermented in techniques similar to our Syrah this Teroldego is aged in 25% new American oak. The alcohol content is 14.2%. “ $36.00 I tasted the 2014 and it was a big & rich wine, excellent after cellaring 7 years. — 5 years ago

Another solid vintage of this Teroldego (90%) Syrah (10%) blend. Purple/ruby color with a dark core. Fragrant aromas of jammy black and blue fruit, dark cocoa and black pepper. Flavors of black berry/plum/raspberry fruit, blueberries, black licorice and fresh herbs. Long lasting and very earthy finish. Medium bodied and bright acidity. Slightly chewy (well integrated) tannins and relatively low (12.5%) alcohol. Nicely complex and well structured. Much riper tasting (probably warmer) vintage than in prior years. Such excellent quality for the price. Thanks for the taste, Chris B! — 5 months ago

Terrific!!! — 3 years ago
Very much enjoying everything I’ve tried from this producer. Great wines for the money. This one is stupendously easy to drink and a delicious whack of dark fruit with just enough grip and subtle spice to keep thins interesting. Never tried this varietal before, but would certainly drink again. — 6 years ago

Sagee Aran
Displays a surprisingly bright, translucent ruby-garnet color, leading into a fresh, elegant, medium-bodied palate with energetic mountain tension. Straight out of the bottle, the nose is remarkably quiet and delicate, slowly revealing its nuanced layers in the glass over time. It undeniably demands a proper 1.5 to 2-hour decant to fully open up and unleash its true depth—a serious, authentic alpine red currently showing at 91 Points, with clear upside potential once given time to breathe. — 12 days ago
