Perhaps, this is one of the most approachable vintages (2016) for this wine. A very clean, an uplifting red, it also has an enticing ruby color transitioning to maroon. Amps up on the nose with a solid complexity and elegancy. Since this is Grand Reserva, it spends a minimum of 24 months on American and French oak. I can be fruity and with some spicy notes. Had the 2016 on Derby Day 2025. Dark, rich fruits. Some chocolate with a hint of leather. Vanilla and caramel from the barrel. Very interesting wine. The artwork on the front label is absolutely fascinating. Had to do the back of the bottle to get it in this app. — 4 days ago
Bright, effervescent red. Starts off kind of tasting like wet socks and then smooths and rounds out to dried apricot, green apple, and cinnamon, with a tart finish. Definitely something to worth chillingl! — a month ago

I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 13 days ago
