Popped and poured; enjoyed as we prepped for dinner. The 2024 pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with insane white florals, slightly underripe Bosc pear, stone fruits, lemon peel, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is soft, silky and mineral driven. Really compelling stuff. Drink now through 2034? Funky on opening with mushroom and red fruits. A clear popcorn creme brûlée note appeared and kept evolving. This was very special and a extraordinary alongside a level burgundy. — 2 months ago
A ridiculously stunning Pinot Blanc and the leanest, most tensile vintage I have tasted from Adank. The nose is pure and beautifully articulated, with apples, pears and subtle mineral complexity. The palate is breathtaking, with crystalline purity, unbelievable concentration and density, nervous acidity and monumental linear architecture. It has the structural authority of a great twenty-year-old Pinot Blanc, yet remains so juicy, elegant and alive that it practically dances across the palate. Mouthwatering, deeply sapid and driven entirely by finesse, with a finish that lasts nearly a minute and a half. One of the greatest Pinot Blancs I have ever tasted. — 3 months ago

Grand Cru B. Ridiculous wine. Sweet, structured, pure and elegant, with insane mid-palate texture, richness, length and juiciness. Huge concentration, a shock of red fruit that cascades across the palate, and a mineral, super-bright finish. Icing-on-cake texture. Wow. — 5 months ago

Much more open on day two, with a lifted, beautiful nose of mineral, red fruit, confectionery notes, cotton candy, mid-season cherry and spice. The palate has gained elegance and expression, with remarkable tiny-berry fruit intensity, terrific purity and excellent balance. This is clearly a nervy, high-acid expression of the wine, and there are still some harder edges that need time to sand down, but the material is outstanding. Bright, energetic and beautifully delineated, with the fruit more visible today and the structure still firmly in command. 9.4 now, with clear potential for 9.5–9.6 as it develops. Was a tough customer yesterday. — 2 months ago
Grand Cru A. Ridiculous. My God, the concentration. So red-fruited, elegant and complex, with hauntingly complete aromas, gorgeous lift and depth, insane inner-mouth aromatics and outrageous fruit purity. The depth and texture are beyond the scale. Beyond. — 5 months ago
A mineral blizzard. Reductive, fresh and classy, smelling like a scene in nature. The finish blasts the palate with minerals. Utterly insane texture, purity and intensity, with juicy cranberry-like snap beneath the Chardonnay. One of the greatest Chardonnays I’ve tasted. — 5 months ago
One of the most Burgundian wines on earth.
Nose: earthy. But the good earthy. Cherry flower.
Palate: perfect cherry. But more mountain stream than fruit. Classic burgundy from 40 years ago. Mineral. Floral. Elegant. Long. Perfect.
A quiet perfection

Absolutely delicious. The nose has that Puligny-Montrachet-meets-Chablis salinity, with airy minerality, spice and a little sweet wood as it opens. The palate is rich and juicy but everything is just enough, with terrific freshness, snap, sap and beautiful balance. There is a little sweetness to the fruit and texture, but it stays lifted by that unmistakable Swiss Alpine minerality and florality. Deep, precise, energetic and drinking beautifully with a little age. Great wine. — 6 days ago
