An enjoyable vintage, even if it’s not a top vintage, it still portrays typical P-C. Always enjoyable. Drinking very well with just a short decant. — 2 years ago
A fresh and young 2021. Tight acids, lots of bright tannins. Hasn’t mellowed into Nebbiolo brick and tar yet, but good. Lots of dried roses, thyme, flinty, touch of prune and baking spice. From Fermented Grapes. 12/10/2022 — 3 years ago
Pre-4th steak dinner! Beautiful nose of cigar ash, ripe dark fruits, tar, and a slight deep hint of spearmint. The palate has some Zingy tannins that strike quick and then release, almost like the acidity you get from pineapple to the top of the mouth. Medium to heavy bodied, very approachable but delicious and complex with beautiful energy and little to no hint of the age, with a blend of blueberry jam, violet and sandalwood on the finish. — 3 years ago

Black cherry & blackberry with dark fruit, soft tannins and dark cherries in the palate. Paired well with a smoked cheese and spicy ham. — 5 months ago

A 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and (Pinot) Meunier; mostly sourced from the 2011 vintage (40%) with the balance from 2010 and 2009.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The C. de Pinots NV pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe apple, toasted brioche, split almonds and lemon bar and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The DNA is there and showing a slightly more oxidative style. Drink now. Disgorged July 2016. — 2 months ago
