“Riesling “K” references “Kabinett.” Light straw color with some greenish highlights. Aromas and flavors of gooseberry, white peach, white flowers, lemon and slate. The lemon flavor intensifies on the very long finish. Slight bit of RS and slightly oily texture. Medium body, clean and quite vibrant. Bristling acidity and very complex. Another excellent effort by a solid FLX producer. — 3 years ago
vintage 2019 | Such a solid and beautiful pinot noir, especially with 6-8 cellar years. My wife said three times: my gosh, this is delicious. Paired with a steak, shimesji mushrooms, parsnip frites and a salad. Loads of red fruit, esp raspberries. Vibrant taste. Crucial to pick the largest glasses. — 2 months ago
A gift from my mother in law: under screw cap. The wine had a barely noticeable orange rim. Deep aromas of sweet roses, black cherry, orange rind, freshly turned earth, oolong tea; all this carried through on the palate, with the black cherry in the forefront. Good acidity and length, 13.5 abv. For the entry level Pinot aged under screw cap I am very impressed. I want to try the GG offerings now. — 9 months ago
