Properly dry with tight, fine bubbles and crisp notes of white peach, ripe grapefruit, and wet stones, with very little baking notes. Color is very light yellow with green hues to the center, and palate is bone dry, with more white peach (underripe), dry lemon, some slight hints of thyme or celery notes, and more grapefruit tartness with a lot of dry, limestone energy vibrating to the finish. — 2 months ago
Dark black fruit, spices and herbs. Nice with red sauce. — 4 months ago
Bright Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 14 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy character. Nice! — 22 days ago

Fruity, smooth. Great with pizza now — 2 months ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — 3 months ago
Thought it paired really nicely with lamb dish I ordered and Zoe’s peppercorn duck dish — 5 months ago
A little spicy, balanced, elegant with crisp acidity in a dry finish — 18 days ago
love these, so bright. — a month ago
From a 1ha parcel of vines nearing 100 years old. If memory serves me correctly, Catherine and Pierre had introduced biodynamic practices the previous year (1994).
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 1995 Les Perrières pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of brambles, Poblano pepper, purple flowers, graphite, leather, a touch of horse blanket, some fine warm spices and gravelly minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, grippy and mineral laden. Delicious. I love where this wine is at today. Drink now but well stored examples will likely live well past 2035. — 2 months ago
More in alignment with WS review: “Cherry, raspberry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors mark this perfumed red. Racy and elegant, with defining acidity. Persistent finish. Drink now through 2028. 3,300 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.” — Bruce Sanderson… Versus WE: “Like a garden at twilight, this Barbera lifts with violets and lavender before diving into a pool of plums and boysenberries, kissed by fresh herbs. The palate mirrors this purple-fruited dance with juicy precision. Give it a slight chill and watch it become the life of the party.” — Jeff Porter. — 5 months ago

Quite light ruby , wide pink rim . Lots of tart red fruits , cranberry , raspberry , with fresh cut herbs and rose . On the palate this is very fresh with lots of red fruits and quite high refreshing acidity . Good fresh herbal crunchy cranberry, orange rind finish with lightly grippy tannins . Perfect now and over the next 5 years or so . At Osteria Giro de Vite, in Monchiero , a little place just outside of the Barolo region that is well worth visiting . — 25 days ago
