Beautifully pure with notes of ripe apple, peach and a hint of green herbs. The flavour is both juicy and refreshing, mild and rich. — 6 months ago

Round, golden brightness in a linear acid line through the middle. So much flavour for a light style. So well balanced. — 6 hours ago

Blend of the region’s traditional white varieties. Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. 12 months in a big oak barrel then transferred into a steel tank and aged for 24 years! Bottled in 2016.
Fresh and fruity notes evolve towards aromas of ripe and dried fruits, croissant and tea. — 4 years ago
2020 vintage from Cantina Produttori Terlano in south Tirol in Alto Adige.
This is a coop founded 1893 with 143 growers and 165 hectares in the Dolomites Mountains in the foothills of the Alps.
Nose of pears, Macintosh apples, almonds and wild herbs.
Elegant flavours of ripe melon, peach, apples with minerality and balanced acidity.
In the foreground of the picture is Albacore tuna caught by my friend Fraser 200 km north off the coast of Vancouver Island in September..
That Albacore tuna was smoked by my friend Masa in North Vancouver.
This Pinot Grigio is fantastic with the smoked Albacore tuna.

Always a favorite Cantina in Terlano. We go to Alto Adige and load up our car with these fresh crisp whites every year. — 5 years ago

Solid Italian option and Kurt rec. would try again. Light and acidic but not too much. Grassier than citrus. — 2 months ago
Deep, golden-hue in color, the 2020 Terlano “Kreuth” (100% Chardonnay) is a lush, full-bodied example of the variety. Hints of star fruit and bright citrus notes greet the nose, but it’s on the palate where this wine be shinin’ right now. Full-bodied, rich and glorious is the texture, pinned down by an uncanny mineral-driven sense of place. I learned a long time ago that you just can’t write-off ANY of the Chardonnay that comes from the Alto-Adige region of Italy- or ANYWHERE from Italy for that matter. As it breathes it comes into its own, changing with every breath and reinforcing itself on the finish. See simply: do not overlook. — 8 months ago
Nicely fruity, with strawberries, light cherries, a hint of straw, undergrowth, a whiff of cream. But also a fresh, cool, mineral undercurrent.
On the palate this is poised, more on the fruity, fleshy side. Brilliantly balanced with fresh juicy acidity and a mineral, herby backbone. Nicely polished tannins, too.
