The vintage that never sleeps. Always so open and giving, 2017 is Grands Ech is superb even in its youth, with scintillating intensity and richness, exceptional detail and focus and a long saline-mineral inflicted finale. Stunning vintage for this wine, one of my favorite bottlings from Drouhin, and surely to be even more impressive with additional time in bottle. — 3 months ago
It’s not about QPR when you have a chance to drink history. I had other plans for this bottle but I thought about the bottles I’ve sold over the years and never tasted which now I regret.
You can’t take them with you so you might as well enjoy while you can. Very good, bigger than I expected from a Burgundy but its another bucket list bottle — 3 months ago

This Puligny-Montrachet stayed true to its heritage. Mineral and chalk my on the nose. Well rounded on the palate with a crisp start and light acidic follow through that pairs perfectly with Thanksgiving appetizers. Vive la France — 4 months ago
Consistency is their middle name.
This has just started to shift from fresh to aging.
Bruised red apple/pear, lemon, lime zest, tropical melons, drier stone fruits, whipped cream, ginger, brioche, graham cracker, very light caramel/butterscotch notes, grey volcanics, limestone marl, sea fossils, gritty chalk, white & yellow flowers with greens, excellent lively acidity and a well balanced-knitted, elegant & smartly polished finish that lasts near two-minutes. — 4 months ago
