Château Tour Saint-Christophe

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Nicely perfumed & very elegant.
Ripe black currant & black cherry, with some cassis. There’s some nice cedar wood hints and a bit of orange peel. Fresh, juicy, enticing.
Such a nice mouthfeel, the tannins juicy, velvety, beautifully polished & finely grained. Impeccable balance and nice depth & precision. More damson plum on the palate with a hint of cherry. Nice finish with a touch of menthol & salt.
Drinking beautifully right now. Very good friendly & quite delish.

From Premier Cru! Lol. A collectors item

Nose: plush cherries.

Palate: sweet cherry fruit. Not too complex. But tasty.

Naso intrigante e ricco. Bella consistenza e complessità data da un uso del legno presente ma non invasivo.

Les Vaucrains Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2020

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The wine pours, a deep, ruby color with a dark but transparent core; medium viscosity, with very light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is youthful with notes of ripe red and some black fruits: raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, red flowers, licorice, warm, spices, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. To palate, better after 2030 and through 2045. — 2 months ago
