Decanted 2 hours. Drank over next 4. 96+ got at Costco for comparatively good price. Checking now to see if I should get more to lay down. One of my favorite wines this year. Getting more. — 3 days ago

Woof. Super youthful. Procure as many as you can store and enjoy over the next two decades!

Château La Tour du Pin Figeac (Moueix)

St. Emilion Red Bordeaux Blend 1998

Truncated dinner party notes. Surprised this was still kicking as vigorously as it is. Yes, still red fruit, but with secondary and tertiary notes adding so much complexity. Delicious. — 7 months ago

Château Tour du Mayne

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2023

2022 vintage. Medium-bodied, already some evolution to the colour. A little smokiness on the nose. This is ready to drink already, with juicy red fruit and soft tannin. Nice smokey length. Another terrific Bordeaux value. — 2 months ago

Château Cormeil-Figeac

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Very fresh nose of red berries, and medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 6 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Elegant and complex, but a little restrained now.

A good quality wine. Very fresh and young tasting, and a good food wine.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Has good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$30.

Château Franc Mayne

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2011

Yum! Bought from Bruno onsite. Kyle thinks it’s best with food, I could go with or without. Tannins are Happening. Brick, red fruit, heft. A delight. — a month ago

Château La Rose Figeac

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

2018 vintage. 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Nathalie d'Espagne took over in 2013 and the wines have gained in finesse ever since. Organically farmed since 2009. Beautiful nose with flowers, crushed strawberries, coffee, and subtle spices. In the mouth it displays juicy red fruit, spices and an intriguing minerality on the finish. Fine length too. Very good value for Pomerol. Abv. 13,5%. — 7 months ago
