Cantine Colosi

Sicilia Nero d'Avola 2023

Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black fruit, purple flowers, pepper spice and dusty herbs. Flavors of sour black cherries, black berry/raspberry, black olives and those roasted herbs. A bit of black pepper on the long and lingering finish. Very fruit forward, plump and fleshy. No sign of oak. Soft tannins. Fresh, dry and full bodied. Great value red. Thanks for saving me a glass, Chris B! — 2 days ago

Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese 2022

Medium bodied, mineral with rose and red fruit nose. Tannins in the back give it a nice structure. — 24 days ago

SP68 Bianco Terre Siciliane Albanello Muscat of Alexandria 2023

Nectarine in color. Vegetal, hay, barn-y on the nose - a very surprising aroma. Round mouth feel with pleasant acidity. Getting some grapefruit and citrus and meringue on the back end. Complex wine that pairs wonderfully with a light, pasta primavera. — 7 days ago

Rovittello Etna Rosso Nerello Cappuccio Blend 2014

Liked this bottle big time, drank this wine and vintage several times over the years with inconsistent results. Nevertheless, this one was great — 22 days ago

Munjebel Terre Siciliane Bianco Carricante Blend 2018

2018, opened in 2025. Delicious, golden almost orange hue, fresh fruits and citrus nose, balanced tannins and acidity, Etna crushed stone, juicy and super easily drinkable, yet still complex and interesting. — a month ago
