Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Showing a gorgeous nose, once it opens up.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and nicely balanced.
Showing blackberries, black currants, blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This 10-year-old is drinking very nicely now, and probably drinking at its peak. Will continue to drink nicely in the next couple of years.
Showing a soft mouthfeel with nice complexity. This 2015 is showing a lot of sediments. Easy drinking, soft and smooth with good structure.
Fruit forward, elegant and spicy. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time.
A blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 11% Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Veramente un bel vino. 94-96.
Puro ed espressivo. Intenso ed elegante.
La miglior maturità riscontrata in tutti i vini assaggiati fin’ora.
Blend 54 CS 43 M 4 PVerdot 1 CF.
Al naso espressivo con frutta e suolo. Al palato fine, molto naturale e altrettanto preciso e pulito. Finale caldo e avvolgente.
Lascia in bocca la natura del luogo.

Medium Ruby color, purple hues, with aromas of ripe fruits, floral, herb and complex spice, aged 16 months in 43% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum and strawberry with pepper, tea, herbs, licorice and oak, soft tannins on well balanced structure. Full body, long finish, ending with spice, fruit, tobacco and floral tones. Very Nice! — 2 years ago
Over the weekend I opened the 2018 Château Pgélan Ségur Saint-Estèphe Left Bank Bordeaux. A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon and 43% Merlot.
On the nose was very expressive and floral, black cherry, blackberry, fig, black currant, licorice, creamy chocolate, iron, violets and earth.
On the palate was black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, licorice, spice, minerality, light oak, herbal and dark rich earth.
This is a full bodied wine wiyg smooth fresh mouthfeel mouthwatering medium + acidity and medium + grainy tannins that leaves you with a long black fruit earthy graphite finish. This is a beautiful wine and worth the price. You can drink now or cellar for a later date. Have a wonderful week ahead and please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 years ago

2020 vintage. Last tasted 7.3.24 (9.3) and 7.23.24 (9.3). Still weird mix of pretty and ugly/grounded and flighty with medium/medium-heavy body but it works with the journey and the finish. 9.3.25. — 3 months ago
