Dry and crisp as hell and delightfully so. Makes for a delicious and interesting French 75. — 3 months ago
Tough Hermitage competition last night and it ranked slightly behind top producers JL Chave and Jaboulet (La Chapelle). Not quite as long and explosive, but who’s to complain — 2 years ago
Eileen and Jack at apt in Paris with Roast Pork Tenderloin, mushrooms and Bak Choy. Good wine with a little spice-texture. Less than 10 euro grocery store selection — 4 years ago

Popped and double decanted to remove sediment (there’s quite a bit). Deeply fruity nose. Loads of dark berries, with deep cracked stone minerals. A bit of cured meat. The palate is muck more savory than the nose. Liquid rock leads, but some crisp, dark berry fruit. Surprisingly nice acids. A fair amount of soft tannin. Long, clingy finish. Drinking very nicely now. Might be solid for a few more years, though I’m not sure it will improve much from here. Another really good wine from this top notch co-op. — 10 hours ago
