The 2018 Brut Imperial is a Corpinnat blend of 56% Xarel·lo, 30% Macabeo, 10% Parellada and 4% Chardonnay. Produced using the traditional method, it spent 60 months on the lees. The bouquet features aromas of lime and lemon pie, complemented by a delicate array of fine herbs. Dry and creamy on the palate, the ethereal flow is enlivened by calibrated acidity. Refreshing and joyful, this sparkling wine is a delight. (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, September 2024)

The Grand Cru of Cava? Corpinnat (Heart of Penedes) is a special designation by a group of estates (currently 11) who broke tie with the Cava D.O. This one was disgorged in 12/2023.
Aromatic nose of green apple, peach, chalk, light brioche, and hint of white floral. Vibrant, round, and precise. Very impressive, particularly when considering this is a brut nature.

Sipping Fine Wine
This sparkler carries the new Corpinnat designation, meaning it's no longer Cava. Pale lemon with citrus and stone fruit aromas with biscuit notes and good bubble flow. Clean fresh palate of apple and pear with lime citrus zest flavors. Medium+ finish ending with wet stone minerality and citrus character. A nice alternative to a French Champagn. — 14 days ago
