Clean! 2012 BBM is in a terrific place, all about richness and intensity with deep complex layers of butterscotch, spiced orchard fruit and candied white flowers laced with minerality. The palate is voluptuous with tremendous density and volume and a finish that keeps on going. Top notch white burg! — 25 days ago
Delicious wine, and it’s not typically a style I enjoy. Cranberry, raspberry, and red currant on the nose & palate. Rust and tart red fruit on the front. Medium-plus acidity. Medium body. Fruit throughout. Tart, almost sour finish that’s balanced by tons of red fruit and subtle cocoa. Excellent with food and on its own. — 2 months ago

Banger. 07 Charmes, from 100+ year old vines right across from Chambertin, is a fabulous rendition in this vintage, seductive and complex wafting a dark fruited and gamey bouquet laced with violets and black tea. The palate is superbly concentrated, detailed and impeccably balanced with a finish that keeps on going. A particularly youthful ‘07 Grand Cru red burg. Long life ahead! — 4 days ago
