2010 and still very very young. Doesn’t mean not enjoyable. Opulent cranberry and tart bing cherry. Loads of forest floor. Very powerful aromas. More than I’m used to with Barthod. Palate is still tight and needs air. After a while it really starts to sing. Amazing wine. Want to taste in another decade. — 4 years ago

Great joy to drink this delicate and sophisticated Bourgogne rouge. Can’t wait for her better bottlings. — 4 months ago
Cherries, vanilla, potpourri, spice and a bit of smoke on the nose. Palate still has a bit of oak sheen initially then opens up and integrates after a couple hours of air, dominated by tart red fruit (cherry, pomegranate, and framed by wood smoke, clove, licorice, dried leaves, and a slightly astringent finish that makes the palate water. Elegant, very chambolle, plenty of structure for the long haul — 2 years ago
