Feels salty, acid, high in alcohol, very berry/cheery, reminds on cherry liquer — 3 years ago
Very juicy, fruity nose. Oozy red berries, a whiff of gunflint and crushed granite. Big whack of dry fruit initially, lowish acids, a noticeable bit of tannin. Full body, with a little alcohol burning through the fruit in the latter half of the finish. Not complex of especially deep, but pretty good bang for the buck over the next 2 years. — 4 years ago

I don't remember much about this, except that it was pretty good. — 9 years ago
Too bad we can't go back to France and buy this again... rich and thick in Oak, with a typical buttery Taste for a chardonnay. Deep and much more full bodied than the majority of whites we can get in the states. Loved this pick! — 9 years ago
Super smooth and easy drinking. Love it. — 3 years ago
The Beaujolais wine we love to taste. Carbonic maceration that brings explosive and intoxicating fruity, coupled with pigeage in the Burgundian style, and partial ageing in barrels bringing delicate tertiary notes. The colour is bright red, typical of a Saint-Amour. The bouquet is ripe and floral red fruit, with beautiful herbaceous notes. The tannins are fine but well marked. The finish is stretched on freshness, strawberry and flowers. It's a lot of fun.
— 5 years ago

So cheap that there’s no year on this thing. Piron, huh? Not bad. Not very characteristic. — 5 years ago

Nose: concentrated dark fruits, violets, pepper stems?
Taste: all the above, plus some mushroom umami
Light tannins, lovely lively wine — 8 months ago
