Dark purple in color with a short reddish rim.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing black plums, black currants, coffee, light oak, spices, chocolates and licorice.
Short finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Merlot from Saint Emilion is starting to drink nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and robust.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Out of magnum - lean tart fruit on the nose but a developed palate filled with yellow pear, apple and lemon meringue. Outstanding — 22 days ago
