My first exposure to Don Melchor was rewarding! Rich, dark fruit maturity on the nose was consistent with long lasting dark cherries and red plum on the palette. What a delightful, full-bodied, priorat blend at a value price. We drank both the 2019 and the 2020 vintages; the latter was a touch more fruit forward but both were well balanced with great acidity to complement a ribeye steak.
