Mount Eden's Chardonnay grapes are harvested when slightly yellow to yellow-green and are pressed without crushing. All of the juice is barrel-fermented in new and one-year-old French Burgundy barrels, where the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged on the lees for ten months prior to bottling. The Chardonnay is then cellared for two years before being released. — 4 years ago
Delicious. Delicate, citrus, subtle brine, delicious with seafood, afternoon in the sun with an ocean breeze. — 2 years ago
A very interesting inadvertent experiment. I left this in a styrofoam case in my garage. It was there for almost 3 months. The garage hits 90 during the day.
Any rate the wine tastes like the wine.
Go styrofoam !!!!!
Nose is ocean breeze. Lemon flower.
Palate is mineral. Hint of gods lemon soda.

A unique wine. Vibrant golden hue, reductive aroma combined with a variety of ripe orchard fruits, saline breeze, pineapple, wet stone. Palate with high acidity, a lingering tannic grip, stony minerality, apple, pear, fresh almonds. I drink the current vintage (which happens to be 2012 this year) with my wife once per year, and have for the last 5 years. Nostalgic. — a year ago
Nice young yellow canary color. Heavy in the glass. Tropical nose with notes of sea breeze, lemon, kiwi, white stones and tan spice. Glycerol and rich in the mouth. California like, but with nice Chablis nuances. I wonder how this will evolve over next 10 years. Maybe like 92’s? — 3 years ago
Delightful. Just my kind of Chardonnay — 4 years ago

Aromas of strawberry, pomelo, watermelon, rose petal, sea breeze, and hint of thyme. The palate adds additional red berries, citrus, and faint earthy notes. Medium body that is nicely textured. Fresh yet round acidity. There is off-dry sensation on the otherwise slightly savory medium finish.
Lovely but pricy rose. — 6 days ago
