Heavy tobacco, smoke, and earthy tones on top of dark fruits. Opens up very dynamically because of its vintage. — 5 months ago
One of my favorite wines to have with basic pasta with tomato sauces (with or without meat) is Argentine Bonarda. Unfortunately we’re overrun with effing Malbec and Bonarda remains hard to find in the states, even though it’s widely grown in Argentina. This has the classic dark, purply color. Tangy dark mountain berries, crushed rocks, and bitter herbs on the nose. A blast of flavor initially, fading quickly into lingering minerals and acids. (A flavor profile that just works with the aforementioned pasta.). Cheap and good. Glad I stumbled on this. (Not sure why @Delectable Wine published my notes a second time as a comment 🤷) — 5 months ago

Generally what you'd expect from a budget Pinot - oaky/vanilla, cherry, a bit of a bite — 4 years ago

Delicious! — 5 months ago
Fresh and vibrant with red fruit aromas alongside spicy, earthy undertones and hints of mineral. Lively medium-bodied yet juicy, refined and silky tannins, good acidity, and a refreshing, mineral finish. — 6 months ago
Blue-purple fruits, earthy, mineral tones, mid-weight finish. — 8 months ago
Deep Ruby color, purple hues, aromas of red and black fruits with herb and cigar spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with vanilla, cacao and tobacco. Fine round tannins, medium+ length ending with fruit, tobacco and mineral spice. Good now! — 9 months ago
A deep purple Malbec with juicy tannins. Aromas of fresh fruits and herbs laced with spice. Would do well if aged longer, however, I enjoyed it. — 4 years ago
Enjoyed a 2021 bottle with steaks on our back patio. Excellent choice at this price point. 15.5% alcohol. — 4 days ago
Mmmm - delicious! Quite full bodied with a deep ruby red color. Enjoyed with red meat and all by itself. Flavors of blackberry, plum and dark cherry. — 9 months ago
Great fruit, well balanced, almost case worthy — 9 months ago
Deep purple in color with a short purplish rim.
Full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blackberries, blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, herbs, light vegetables and peppercorn.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 6-year-old Malbec from Mendoza is still young, and a little harsh. I had it before and this time I let it open for a whole day.
Tangy and rich. Very extracted and a little unbalanced.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

No notes. I brought this to my friend after our short detour in Spain a couple of weeks back. Could pass for a nice, zesty, zippy sauvignon. Very fresh and perfect for the kind of heatwave we are experiencing currently in Dijon. — 5 days ago
