Yeah, what a wine. Full ripe tropical fruits, creamy vanilla with a light hint of caramel sweetness. Orange zest bitters. Quite sweet but just enough citrus sour to prevent it from becoming too thick. Mached excellent with the spicy lintal coconut dal for diner. But standalone it is even better. — 6 years ago

Nasty Women of the East Bay do Alsace. This wine, like so many from the region , overdelivers: jasmine, citrus, chalk with grapefruit pith and white pepper on the finish. Apparently a blend of 95% Auxerrois and 5% Pinot Blanc qualifies as a Pinot Blanc?!? The Alsatians rank up there with the Italians for confusing labeling conventions. Enjoyed. — 7 years ago

Bottled 10/2021. An old favorite not had in years. I remember this being fresher with more citrus, playful. This edition is maltier, not quite as lively. 2018 vintage. Poulsard has very little pigmentation in the skin and therefore looks in general more like a rosé, but this wine has a very deep colour for this variety (typical for the vintage I was told). Éric Thill is a great producer, and this is a great example of the grape variety. Subtle, but captivating perfume, flowers mixed with red berries and a subtle hint of basil. Light and delicate in the mouth, but in no ways thin. Juicy bright red berries, a subtle spiciness and a nice tannic bite that gives it an irresistible slightly rustic charm. Good length too. Lovely. Be prepared to finish a whole bottle on your own. Abv. 12,5%. — 6 years ago

This Meursault is radiant and expressive in the stellar ‘22 vintage. Aromas of yellow peach, baked apple, and a hint of hazelnut. Broad palate with creamy texture balanced by a fresh, citric line. Good depth and long finish. A charming Meursault with finesse. — 7 months ago

2023 vintage. Another delicious Poulsard from Eric Thill. Typical light transparent ruby red colour. Delicate perfume of pomegranate, cuberdons, and flowers. Fresh, crispy red fruit, with light, velvety tannins and amazing length for such a light wine ( abv. 12%, which is slightly higher than the previous vintage).
