La Serra Barolo Nebbiolo 2021

2021 vintage. Medium body. Excellent depth of field for the pricing. Will likely strip remaining enamel from your teeth but dynamite stuff. 3.20.26. — 2 days ago

Barolo Nebbiolo 2021

2021 vintage. Dusty and plummy for the duration with a decent, tannic doorstop that just won't budge. 1.9.26. — 2 months ago

Canalicchio Riserva Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

Deep garnet color, high acidity and still plenty of tannins. Smell of red fruit, cedar, flint. Medium full body, some tertiary flavors mixed with red fruit, plum, pomegranate, espresso . Long finish — 24 days ago

Cristalino Brut Cava Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada

My ideal weeknight sparkling wine. My dad is a big Cava fan, so naturally I was raised to be the same. This wine is so reasonably priced and arguably over performs. Crisp and straightforward with notes of green apple, lemon zest, and a little pear, plus a light toasty finish. The bubbles are lively but not aggressive, making it super drinkable. Clean, dry, and refreshing. Solid everyday cava. No complaints. — 23 days ago

Serra della Contessa Etna Rosso Nerello Blend 2012

Served blind . Arrogantly said after a quick smell & taste, Burgundy from 2018 , high quality village wine. WRONG! Beautiful flavors of cherry, earth and mineral. Pepper red fruits, herbs and mouthwatering acid attacked my palate. Still has structure to endure for years. — 2 months ago
