Bought this 2020 cru at $50. While in Cleveland. Was assured it was worth every penny it and it is outstanding. Crushed dark fruits including fig with spices. Juniper, pine, camphor oil, leather and bitter orange peel. Truly one of the biggest and most complex Moulin a Vents I’ve ever had. A wintry wine for roasted foods. Has easily another 5 years ahead of it. — 4 months ago
first romorantin! very mineral, lots of salt, highly acidic at the front. smells spiced and like quince and a little pear. would be good w something buttery — 9 months ago
A crunchy Crozes, built on the purity of the fruit. The Syrah expresses itself on notes basket of juicy red and black fruit, pepper, smoked, beautiful floral notes. In the mouth it is fresh and flexible, the mineral frame structures the tasting. Great drinkability!
— 3 years ago

Blueberry, leather, satisfyingly medium dry finish. Really enjoyed this one. — 6 years ago
A fortunate find in a suermarket in Arta. Tasting motes are a bit superfluous, but great fruit aromas and softness with a little length. Very easy to drink for 14%... Wasted teally on burgers and patatas bravas in our lovely finca. — 2 months ago
Slammin! Shroomy spice and plum — 8 months ago
Clear, deep berry red. Shy but inviting nose and medium palate of Montmorency cherry, soft leather, and stony pomegranate. In true Tavel form its decidedly *not* fruit forward. Rather it's a nicely complex deep rosé that's at home anywhere you'd take a lighter red. Steak-topped salads and Thanksgiving dinner are immediate come-to-minds. Drink now through 2030. — 3 years ago
Medium bodied, slightly oaky yet fruity and not sweet nor dry. — 5 years ago
Nature gamay of Beaujolais, all in fruit. Balanced and charming, the attack is supple, the body carries a certain intensity due to aged vines certainly .. the finish is short. A gourmet, juicy wine for friends.
Gamay nature du beaujolais tout en fruit. Équilibré et charmeur l’attaque est souple, le corp porte une certaine intensité due aux ceps de vieillie vignes certainement.. la finale est courte. Un vin de copain gourmand, juteux..

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and melon with white floral herb notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and yeasty notes, lively acidity with slight mineral character. Small production, nice! — 8 months ago
Quite rich and oaky. Drank like a white burgundy. — 3 years ago

Substantially above a tasting that included more prestigious appellations and more expensive bottles, all in the same region and all in chenin blanc. Best VfM of a very enjoyable tasting. Nice balance and yet a subtle acidity leaving much to hope for latter years. Drink some, keep some. — 6 years ago
