Delicious - full bodied - pear/peach/citrus — 2 months ago
The nose is vibrant and inviting, with bright red fruits woven with hints of baking spice, dried thyme, and a touch of bramble. The palate shows a darker, earthier profile than the fragrant bouquet suggests, yet the fruit remains intense and lively. Tannins are supple but persistent, lending a juicy, grippy texture that lingers.

Never tasted this bottling before, I just hoped for a decent showing. Instead, it completely reshaped my view of Barbera.
Deep opaque garnet with a slight tawny rim. The nose is captivating with blackberry jam, fig, cedar, dry pine cone, worn leather, clove, and a hint of truffle. Seamless palate - full body with vibrant
acidity, supple tannins that still have firm grip, and a velvety texture. Long, elegant finish. Still has 5–8 graceful years ahead. By far the best Barbera I’ve tasted.

Prunes and chocolate on the nose. Wow! Bright fruit, mellow but strong tannin. — 3 months ago
So fresh! Light, bright, lightly sweet. A bit of lilac, melon. — 3 months ago
Not too many Sangiovese roses in my life. This is good. As it warms it gets much more earthy and vegetal. A lot of red watermelon, but overall savory. Pretty great with bbq. I’m guessing not so great with lighter fare or to crush over an afternoon. — a month ago
What beautiful white wine. The nose is peaches, ocean, sage, grass, like hiking in a field in summer. Palate is mineral driven with good acidity. More stone fruit, sea salt, some more greenery. I love it. Better after 90 minutes of air and closer to cellar temp — 2 months ago
A bit of petroleum and magnolia on the nose. Tart, fresh, sharp. Apples, grapefruit, limestone. After sitting, starts to smell like grapefruit candy. — 3 months ago

The winery’s entry level Sangiovese bottling. Aged 15 months in second-use French oak for 2020 vintage, it delivers a darker-fruited profile while preserving Sangiovese’s classic character. A versatile, crowd-pleasing choice and pairs especially well Northern Italian pasta dishes. — a month ago
