Deep Ruby red color, blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of Petite Sirah, with aromas of dark fruit, floral and oaky herbs. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and sweet currants with cacao and espresso notes. Full-body, good balanced, fine tannins on a medium+ finish ending a bit spicy and oak character. 20 years. Well top vintage and vineyard. What to do you think? Back then already 150$. At its peak! Ridiculously refined. Cardamom plum nose. Tannins fully resolved. My wife says mellow. Bright ruby color. Aromas of red and black berries, currants, black pepper and baking spices. Flavors of red and black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit, black licorice, and all those spices. As close to perfect as possible. This 2016 vintage was dipped inn2024 with great pleasure. Beautiful fruits of cherry rounded by a nice tannin finish.
