Blend of 68% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, a new wine in the collection, deep Ruby Color, purple hues, with aromas of black and red fruits, spice and floral notes, aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, slightly jammy, with notes of cinnamon and floral spice. Clean fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and herb spice. Glorious Beauj raspberry strawberry. Very much Beauj but it also has an earthy not hidden in there. Elegantly balanced as well. Right when opened a lot was going on. It smells like stems. I like that. Another Beauj to go on the rotation for things to look for when it comes out. — 3 years ago
