Poured by the glass at La Caserne Chanzy. The NV pours a deep straw color with tiny bubbles and a persistent mousse. On the nose, baked apple, white peach, lemon curd and some brioche. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium. Having lower expectations for a complimentary pour, I was impressed as this is more than an easy quaffer. I mean, I guess we’re in Reims after all. Drink now without a fuss. — 12 days ago
