Sour cherry, cranberry, black pepper, maybe some earth/mushroom. Juicy on the palate with red sour fruit, medium acidity and soft tannin with some spice. Tasty, crushable red. — 7 months ago
Light smell of berries (strawberry, raspberry).
Very acidic, salivating, tart aftertaste (like fruit skin).
Very light, yet delicious and full of flavor. — a month ago
Aromas of cherry and licorice, medium bodied, smooth and earthy. Nice, especially for its price point. Easy drinker. — 6 months ago

In 1865, Jean-Marie Mommessin founded winery. In 1889, Mommessin acquired La Grange Saint-Pierre, ancient buildings in Macon, originally belonged to Abbey of Cluny. Its key, the Key of St. Peter, became famous house emblem. Ruby color with aromas of dark berry fruit with notes of oak and floral. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with oak, floral, spice and earthy notes. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and mineral character. — 2 years ago

Excellent brouilly. Ate with turkey burgers, Brie and French baguette and island creek octopus. Very eclectic meal. But more from Parkhill — 9 days ago
