I’m not such a #pinotage fan but #neilellis is a great producer and this is a great expression. #southafricanwine — 3 years ago
Delicious acidic green apple flavored Chardonnay. Lighter in color and flavor then the Chard I'm use to. Drinks beautifully! — 6 years ago

Night 1 a little funk on the nose- reminds me of the tester glue I used to build plastic models. Good fruit, med tannins, rustic. But pleasant. Day 2 the nose has more barnyard- band aid thing. Wine seems more together- cohesive. I like these old school wines. No flash. The Neil Young of wines. — 6 years ago

This magnum was a gift from co-workers at my old job when I left to take a new one. Nice coworkers! So rich and resolved. This wine reminds me of Neil Young’s Vampire Blues. “I’m a vampire babe. Suckin’ blood from the earth.” Grenache pulled from God’s earth. Incredible intensity and length, but still entirely in balance. Length for days. Iodine, stones, blood. — 2 years ago

Dark and supple. Taste of blackberries with mild black pepper aroma. Virtually no tannins it’s smooth to sip or pair with something light ... or even pizza. 😊 casual, unpretentious and tasty. — 5 years ago

2021 vintage. Courtesy of @Neil Valenzuela Decanted and tasted after 1 hour. Light medium/medium body. Backing band and structure mainly there. Intro and middle of the song catchy. Last third/finish will round into form in the next 7-8 years. Pretty introduction as we speak. Def beyond above-average producer that strives for (leaner) balance. So young but feel like this will represent that eventually. 12.10.25. — 6 days ago
