This bottle was opened several hours prior to service and enjoyed over the course of a couple of days. The 2019 “Right Bank“ pours a garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of cassis, blackberries, purple flowers, some green bell pepper, dried green herbs, dry dusty earth, and fine baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin, medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. I think this is delicious and totally name appropriate considering the profile. Drink now through 2039. — a month ago
