Beautiful bottle of 1993 Conti! Still carrying fruit and is peppy!! Aged in great conditions so she is elegant, aged red fruits, earthy with light raisins. This wine has solid tannins and acidity but I would drink now. She’s likely a bit past her prime but still a great wine!! Enjoy!! — 13 days ago
Catch up from a wine dinner last month. Another rare treat on an evening of many new experiences. So muscular. Still very young, waiting to uncoil, but delicious nevertheless. — a month ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2018 “Il Rosso delle Donne” pours a garnet color color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry, mustard seed, fennel, horse blanket, a touch of truffle, dried green herbs, a mix of organic and inorganic earth and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Giving Pommard vibes…in the best of ways. Wow what a surprising and interesting wine. Done in amarone styling this wine must be very intense on release. At 24 years old it was still punchy but very drinkable. Layers of flavors and aromatics was actually great with the rack of lamb — 9 months ago
Opened about an hour prior to service and enjoyed over the course of two days. Better on Day 2. The 2005 RsV pours a deep ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing and dark fruited with ripe notes of black cherry, strawberry, red and purple flowers, licorice, dried green herbs, and gentle warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. Always a special treat, the DRC comes across the most polished and frankly, primary in this lineup of legends. It fresh and beautifully balanced. It just needs time as the Day 2 experience indicated. The tannins are super sneaky. Drink now through 2050+ Bottle No. 1821/17392 — 3 days ago

The nose shows classic BdM aromas of dried cherry, rose petal, steeped black tea, tobacco, and a whisper of balsamic. Yet on the palate its tart acidity overwhelmed, and the nimble structure is more inline with CC than a BdM.
Not bad, but I certainly expected much more.

Another solid vintage of this Basque Country white blend. Light white gold color. Aromas of orchard, tropical, white flowers, citrus fruits and wet stones. Flavors of green apple/pear, lemon/lime, nectarine and kiwi. Distinct hint of chalk dust on the medium (but very bright) finish. Slightly Frizzante, fruit forward and light bodied. Great starter, especially on a warm Summer evening. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 5 days ago
