Another beautiful Rochioli Pinot Noir. Intense but not as overwhelming as the 2020. Elegant cherry flavors and a more restrained nose. Expensive at $75 but its price is reasonable given the quality. — 8 months ago
2008 vintage. Had never come across the "Little Hill" until today. Light-medium body. Decanted and was fairly musty for 2-3 minutes before it started to blossom. Some blue fruit/menthol/eucalyptus throughout the experience. Demonstrative spice component on the back end. Could really only ding this on being slightly "watery" on the front palate. Otherwise, this is kicking now and has plenty of life and love to give. 5.27.23 — 3 years ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 11/29-30/25. An excellent fruit forward, medium bodied and well balanced wine. Tastes of blackberry cherry, black raspberry and Asian spice. A darker fruit profile compared to three corner. — 16 days ago
Mineral grapefruit rind in the nose, body has nice texture holding grapefruit and lemongrass to a medium long finish — 2 months ago
From Westside Farms and Rochioli Allen Vineyard sites, medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and nutty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and pears with honeysuckle, smooth with a nutty creamy texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit toasty notes and savory citrus mineral character. Nice! — 3 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend from Estate vineyards, pale lemon color with aromas of white fruits, citrus, vanilla and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of apple, peach, pear and floral citrus, vanilla, oak, well balanced with lively acidity. Long finish ending with nutty toasty biscuit spice, mineral and citrus notes. Will age a bit. — 9 days ago
