Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2020 Estate pours a bright, yellow/green color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of bright tropical fruit: pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit, lemon curd, almonds, toasted marshmallow, warm spices and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. Lovely stuff. Drink now through 2035+. Bottle No. 9032/12960 — 3 months ago

Scintillating! So bright fresh and concentrated. Great stuff!! Drink now or hold for ten! 👌🏽👌🏽 — 2 years ago
Honeysuckle, unctuous and textural. A medium to full bodied white. Handpicked and wild fermented in old French Oak. Yalumba have now been working with this varietal for 40 years in the Eden Valley which has proven to be an ideal terroir for Viognier. The best example of a straight Viognier available in Australia and Yalumba’s flagship white. — 3 years ago
A blend of fruit from Barossa Valley (79%) & Eden Valley (21%), aged 18 months in 30% new French oak, deep Ruby with purple hues, aromas of dark fruits, licorice, spice, floral and tar. On the palate flavors of ripe juicy blackberry and plum with bits of smoky oak. Well balanced, great mouthfeel, soft velvet tannins, long finish ending with spice smoky oak character. Very nice! — 6 years ago
Deep purple color. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, earthy tones and herbs. Blackberry on the palate, earth and a hint of vegetation. Very tasty cab.
🍇 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec

This bottle is going to age well....bright fruit!! — 6 years ago
A bit skanky on opening but blew off to reveal lovely fruit and spine of delicate if not dusty tannins. — 7 years ago
Excellent. Plenty of butter, honey, and lemon — 3 months ago
1 hour decan(decent chunky/fine sediment). A striking still dark garnet color. On the nose: Captivating notes of dark fruit, stewed meat, mushroom, eucalyptus, roasted coffee bean. Taste: silky, opulent, structured wine with dark cherry, tobacco, charred earth, currants, herbs, pepper, and a coffee-pencil lead long finish with just a touch of heat from the alcohol. YUM!! — 3 months ago

Citrus and apple fruit alongside the distinctive lime notes of a Eden Valley Riesling. Refreshing and fully enjoyable. Some hints of petrol for those Riesling lovers… — 8 months ago
2017 vintage. Mount Eden Vineyards wine dinner @Mister A’s Restaurant-San Diego. Orange oil, crème brûlée and pear in the nose. Some overripe, red delicious apple joins in with those impressions on the flavor side of things. Heavy body and somewhat unctuous. Just enough acidity to maintain order and stay out of Flabbytown. 4.20.23. — 3 years ago
Gorgeous red fruits and spices. Needs a lot of work (decanting and aerating) to get it out of the shell. — 6 years ago

2021 vintage. Vacillates/alternates between polished and rambunctious. Lots to like on both sides. Acoustic or electric guitar? You get both. A tremendous length of finish. Was going to pick up a case of the 2015 vintage of this (9.3) but this is drinking even better. Decision time...4.27.26. — 2 months ago
