Sensational. Bright fruit on the front and then delicate, yet complementary to food, lingering smooth finish. Strawberry, cherry, and a hint of freshly chopped herbs. — 2 months ago
Haters gonna hate, but this is good! Light body, fruit, chocolate and smoothness. Very little acid. Delicious! — 4 months ago
This was rich and delicious. It was fair enough for Suckling to pose the question “Is this the best NZ Pinot so far”? Ticks all the requisite boxes - ripe red and black fruits, a creamy texture, a nice garrigue herbal note. This Pinot lives up to the gorgeous site - one of the most awesome views you will see from the top of the vineyard over Lake Wanaka. Most impressive. — 2 months ago

Pronounced nose of red fruits. Rose, strawberry, crush granite, black tea. Interesting pomegranate flavor on the palate. Beautifully balanced wine. Long finish. — 4 months ago

This is extraordinary for a base pinot. Asparagus, prosciutto, and vegetal notes dominates the nose. The palate unfurls into a savoury tapestry of tannin, dark cherry and salami. This is long and complex and would improve with cellaring given the balance and tannic grip. Punching well above its weight. — 2 months ago
