This is the Couterier St Veran Cour de Bois…..an eminently quaffable white, a real thirst quencher - does that make it good? Pretty simple, sparkly, bright nose, not much structure or body, but tasty. None of that acidic finish I dislike — 6 months ago

I was expecting an over-oaked style at 13.5 abv. Pleasantly surprised. As this was not the case. A nice balance of ripe orchard fruits and hint of spice, finish with slight bitter almond. Lacks density on the mid palate. Apparently this is a WS top 100 wine? No way. — 8 months ago
