I do love Valle d’Aosta Gamay! Bright garnet color. Aromas and flavors of ripe red bramble berries, wild herbs, dried flowers sweet spices and a touch of orange zest. Palate is quite full. Low tannins. Perfect acidity. So easy to drink. Perfect summer red. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 3 years ago
This could use the additional information of being from the Viñedo Valle Hermoso, just to add that in. It’s all herbs and asparagus served on a plate of chalk and all that just sounds like...too much. But? They pull it off with aplomb. I’ve always been a minimalist but somehow this wine is maximalist and minimalist? I don’t know how they do it but it’s very good. — 6 years ago
I love this wine. Sick sick sick density on the palate. Honey. Hint of tropical fruit. Very hinty ... not obnoxious. Great acidity. So perfectly balanced. Mineral as heck. Such clean minerality. Awesome internal aromatics. Balanced richness. Perfect. This wine is the next big thing. Buy it now or weep. Fass Selections. .... simply electric on the palate. The minerality and acidity just light your palate up. Nose is floral after an hour or so. This is so young. Anyone reading this PLEASE do not gulp it. This is serious wine. Drink over two hours — 8 years ago

I do find the unusual blends in Mexican wines fascinating. Touch of oxidative and balsamic notes on the nose, luscious purple/black fruit in advance on the plate, firm acidity, very soft tannins to finish. #valledeguadalupe — 2 years ago
Muito aromático … frutas e flores… sabores exatos do aroma. Um vinho complexo.. excelente custo benefício … apreciar bem gelado.. em dias de verão parece um néctar .. — 3 years ago
Smells like strawberries and the sea, round on the palate with strawberries and minerals and a tingle of acid, and very balanced between those notes. — 6 years ago
Pineapple, mango, green apple (sweet tropical fruit), and a mineral salty streak and hints of bitter almond.Feels creamy and rich with low acidity for a light to medium pale yellow body.... If this is your first white to fell in love with ( easy to do so ) you will set a really high bar for any other you may try after. Here it is one of my favorite wine makers once again on border line perfection territory... — 7 years ago
Do i know the Grape YES named after the poet Justinus Kerner. A cross of a red grape Trollinger and Riesling from the Weinsberg Wein Institut. I got super drunk there trying 25 wines in the 80’s a trip with my fraternity - Kaffir lime. Touch of peach and green mango (no petrol ⛽️ so this is bs from some other friends). Grapefruit zest. Quite topical! A SUPER deal!!!!!!!!🦋🦋🦋🦋. Seems to do super well in Tirol / Alto Adige but losing his footprint in Germany. — 8 years ago
Temperanillo, Grenache and Barbara. Good example of the mad scientist blends they do in the Valle. Really fun, fruity blend. A bit oily body, lots of spice. But fruit reigns. — 9 years ago

Expressive Bordeaux blend from …. Valle de Guadeloupe! Brought it home when we were traveling there. They are making great wines in Baja California region but interestingly very difficult, if not impossible to get in the US. Paralelo 31 was recommended by several. They are part of a larger project. No dedicated tasting room. Lot of upfront dark earthy expressive fruit. A bit tart on the finish. — 2 years ago
A deep purple Malbec with juicy tannins. Aromas of fresh fruits and herbs laced with spice. Would do well if aged longer, however, I enjoyed it. — 3 years ago
The only kerner I’ve ever had is abazzia and to have this one shows me what the varietal can do. Textured, layered, lemon, chalk, nice acid. — 8 years ago
Light, softly sweet and crisp, chardonnay ish. Would be a great summer wine — 8 years ago
A brighter Touriga with very nice balance. Excellent value. — 8 years ago

This is very nice wine but isn’t the typical Alvarinho, just to give an idea, it is similar to a Chardonnay or Viognier, is more mineral than fruity, very different, great wine! — 4 months ago
